Fears...
Hello friends,
I am proud to say that I could work on one of my fears and act on it.
Before we dive into that, let’s talk a little about why we fear some things. Some fears are due to previous experiences, and some are from expecting an outcome that is not favorable. The ones form experiences can range from anxiety to panic attacks. Some people may even have PTSD just thinking about them. Whereas the other fears expecting unfavorable outcomes are due to the anxiety of the unknown.
If you are like me, unexpected results give you a lot of anxiety. If you are the kind of person who likes to plan in advance, it is most likely that you also like being prepared for the outcomes of your work. But, if things do not work out the way you plan them, you get anxious and eventually are afraid of working on the activity.
This is me with social media. I do not have a rational explanation for me fear of social media as I don’t have any first-hand experience of the worst outcomes from it, but just hearing about the abuse of social media content has stirred up this fear in me that I am afraid to put myself and share my thoughts. I also know the impact social media has on passing on information for those who need it. So, I had to start working on my fear to post content on social media to provide information. Now, I want to use it to provide information on things that I think can help at least a few people and my fear should not be an obstacle.
So, I am working on a new project where I make small clips of some essential topics for our lifestyle that help us prevent many chronic diseases or in some cases even revert the diseases. As a physician, I want to help people achieve optimum health and lifestyle is a major component of that. I talk about many lifestyle choices with my patients in my clinic, but this is only a small group of people. Since social media will help me target a larger population, I have decided to start working on it.
